This was the brief from David Powell to his son Simon in 1995 as they contemplated how to improve the competitive position of the family-owned travel business, Holiday Express.

These words proved to be the catalyst for the formation of Comtec, as Simon embarked on a mission to deliver a selling system that enabled travel agents to compare holiday availability more easily. EasySell was born.
Since 1995, keeping true to this simple mission has been the driving force behind Comtec's growth from a start-up business to one of the UK's leading travel technology suppliers.
Along the way, we've expanded our product portfolio to include travel selling and management systems for both travel agents and tour operators. Working with some of the largest leisure travel brands in the industry.

We've also expanded the team, now employing over 120 experienced and qualified staff. We've also entered new markets in Northern Europe and North America.
And we've been recognised along the way. We’re amongst a select group to have received both the Queen's Award For Enterprise and Microsoft's Gold Certified Partner status. We were also voted “Best Technology Provider” in the prestigious Globe Awards.
Our product range has changed beyond recognition since the first release of EasySell. However Travelink, Travelconnect and the Travelgateway are still fundamentally designed to make your job easier.
