New Senior E-Commerce Manager Appointed

Travel technology company, Comtec, has appointed ex-Open Destinations Director, Chris Suddell as Director Of E-Commerce Solutions.

Suddell will be responsible for defining and delivering Comtec’s e-commerce strategy for the Travelink and TravelConnect products – key elements of the Comtec Travel Platform for tour operators and travel agents. He will report into Comtec’s Chief Technology Officer, Humphrey Sheil.

Sheil commented, “I’m delighted to have Chris on board. We want to ensure that our e-commerce capability in the Comtec Travel Platform both in the UK and international markets retains its leading position. Chris brings significant senior level experience in travel technology and we’re looking forward to receiving the benefit of his ideas and know-how in the product management team at Comtec”.

Suddell joins ex-Open Destinations Sales Director, Howard Frost, at Comtec who joined the South Wales company in August 2007.
